Timothy Riley is a professional gospel singer & vocal coach, originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin but has lived in New York City since 1999. He studied music education and vocal performance at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. After moving to NY, his career took off almost instantly as he became a voice teacher for the world renowned "Boys Choir of Harlem" as well as a member of the Grammy award winning "Hezekiah Walker & The Love Fellowship Crusade Choir". Through this choir, Timothy has shared renown stages with dozens of famous gospel artists including Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Shirley Caesar, Kim Burrell, Yolanda Adams, Vickie Winans, Donnie McClurkin, Kurt Carr, Donald Lawrence, Ricky Dillard, as well as a few secular artists such as Michael Bolton, Lou Rawls & actor/comedian Martin Short.
Timothy began gospel touring throughout Germany and other countries in 2000 and even started several groups including "The Leviticus Gospel Choir" still based in Hamburg, Germany today. In 2012, Timothy joined the legendary Hall of Fame group “The Golden Gate Quartet" now based in Paris, France and sang with this group for 3 years as the 2nd tenor. In 2016, he founded the organization, "Gospel Workshops International, Inc” after discovering his love & passion for teaching voice to other cultures, doing gospel workshops around the world. Although the organization is no longer active, Timothy continues to travel around the world performing & giving gospel music workshops (having been to 26 countries so far) to people from all walks of life around the world.
