
Tony Danza is a Brooklyn-born actor, entertainer, and television icon best known for his starring roles in the beloved television classics Taxi and Who’s the Boss?. Across more than forty years in film, television, theatre, and live performance, he has become one of America’s most recognizable and enduring performers, with additional screen credits including Blue Bloods, The Good Cop, Crash, Don Jon, and more.
On stage, Tony earned critical acclaim for his performance in the Broadway musical Honeymoon in Vegas, and he continues to tour nationally with his celebrated live show, Tony Danza: Standards & Stories, which blends music from the Great American Songbook with storytelling, tap, and ukulele. A former educator and bestselling author, Tony has also been widely recognized for his commitment to youth, education, and community service, receiving numerous humanitarian honors.
Today, Tony serves as Co-Founder and Visionary of The Stars of Tomorrow Project, a youth development theatre organization that empowers New York City students through mentorship, performance training, and cultural experiences. Guided by his belief that “When you teach a kid how to Act, you teach a kid how to act,” Tony remains deeply dedicated to inspiring and uplifting the next generation.
